As the dollar loses favor throughout the world as the "world reserve currency" and as more and more of our banks fail, the federal govenment just continues borrowing money and printing FRNs (Federal Reserve Notes). Hyperinflation is inevitable! This is our national debt:

The National Debt:

From 1913 to 2001 (88 years) the national debt grew to $6 trillion. Over the next three years, in 2004, it climbed to $7 trillion dollars. By the end of 2005, it had surpassed $8 trillion dollars and it continues to grow every second of every day. To give you some idea of just how large a number the national debt is, consider this comparison:

1 million seconds = 12 days
1 billion seconds = 32 years
1 trillion seconds = 32,000 years

Due to the ever growing interest payments on the national debt alone, it is highly unlikely that the U.S. will be able to balance its budget ever again. Today, the U.S. private sector has virtually stopped buying U.S. treasuries and is actively dumping government debt. In recent months, foreign central bank purchases of U.S. treasuries have declined down to 30% and the Federal Reserve purchases have increased to 70%. Soon foreginers will stop lending the U.S. money which will leave only the Federal Reserve, via the U.S. Mint, printing money out of thin air to fund our deficit spending. Our country is quickly approaching the largest financial crisis in history and no electronic or paper asset will survive. Precisely when it will happen is unknown but signs are signaling that it will begin soon. When hyperinflation starts, it will be important to have already preserved the value of the dollars you have. Consider buying gold and/or silver coins. Keep in mind that gold coins are much more expensive to buy than silver coins. Also, when prices are rising rapidly and you use some of these coins to buy necessities, you won't want to use a gold coin and then receive back paper money (FRNs) in change. That paper money will be worth less and less by the day or possible by the hour. Having in your own hands silver coins is a great way to protect your wealth. You can buy them from local or national dealers, whoever offers the best prices. Just Google: "silver coin dealers". Do not buy rare numismatic coins. Instead, purchase current and recent issues by the U.S. Mint, foreign government mints, and/or private mints. You cannot buy them for face value. Their price is based on the price of silver. That is why they are perfect for perserving your true wealth.
